Christine Morrison Jones

Christine Morrison Jones is the official biographer of Grand Chief Steven Point. She also serves as developmental editor on his forthcoming books exploring the history of treaty-making in Canada and the journey toward reconciliation. Born in England to Irish parents, Christine grew up with a love of language and story, devouring books from an early age. She earned her PhD in English Literature from McGill University and taught for many years in the Department of Global Humanities at Simon Fraser University. Today, she devotes her time to writing, editing, and curating projects for Agassiz Publishing that preserve memory, celebrate culture, and inspire future generations. When she isn’t working with words, she can be found in the great outdoors with her husband, Jason, and their chocolate Lab, Chico — who is quickly becoming the inspiration for his own set of stories.
